Exchange opportunity in the winter semester 2025/26 within the Mare Nostrum network in Portugal

Teaching staff, at least in the rank of assistant professor, and non-teaching staff must be permanently employed at the University. Teaching staff may be nominated for mobility for the purpose of teaching or training, while non-teaching staff may be nominated exclusively for mobility for the purpose of training.

Only full-time students may be nominated. Nominations from students who have just enrolled in one of the faculties of the University, graduating students, and matriculants will not be considered.

The fields that can be nominated are all fields that are taught in English to incoming students. The quota for students is 4, while the quota for the purpose of teaching is 1 and the quota for the purpose of training is 1.

In addition to the University of Džemal Bijedić in Mostar, the network also includes the University of Bihać, the University of Sarajevo, and the University of Tuzla from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Interested parties can choose from the following universities: University of Évora, Nova University of Lisbon, University of Algarve and University of Porto.

Anyone who wishes to undertake an exchange within the Mare Nostrum network should contact the International Cooperation Office at international@unmo.ba with an email of intent.

The letter of intent for students includes the following documents: a letter of motivation (in English), a certificate of average, proof of English language proficiency, a proposal for a learning contract, a scan of the passport and a Europass CV (in English).

The letter of intent for teaching and non-teaching staff includes the following documents: activity plan, letter of motivation, proof of English language proficiency and Europass CV. All documents are submitted in English.
